Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) September 12, 2008 -- Venafi (http://www.venafi.com), inventor of systems management for encryption, today announced it has appointed two security and consulting experts to lead its newly formed Professional Services team. Phil Biegler, previously the director of consulting services for RSA Security Inc., and Marc Massar, formerly the lead architect for First Data Corporation's Global Encryption Program, will jointly lead efforts to help organizations with planning, discovery, management and monitoring for their systems management for encryption projects
"As our customers work to control their ever-expanding encryption environments, many want more than just installation support to ensure that the technologies they are implementing bring a speedy return on investment without the risks inherent in most new IT projects," said Trell Rohovit, CEO, Venafi. "Together, Phil and Marc have decades of experience with these types of initiatives, which enables them to apply proven methodologies and processes to help organizations rapidly and effectively meet their encryption management goals."
Biegler, the new senior director of professional services, has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology and security industry. During his 10+ years at RSA, he worked with some of the largest organizations in the world deploying security, risk management and other large-scale projects. Prior to joining RSA Security, he spent more than nine years in the IT department at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York City.
As a leader in encryption, security and technology management, Massar, now Venafi principal solutions architect, has been sought after and consulted by both government and industry for assistance with strategic roadmaps and product development.
